Map veto

The map veto isn’t its own settings page — it comes together from two places.

On Rules you enable “Decided by: Veto” in the rule wizard and set up the map pool and ban steps. The ban/pick sequence itself (order, how many bans per side) comes from the discipline — Overwatch, Valorant, LoL, Dota, SF6, Tekken, and Smash each have a predefined sequence. CS2, Rocket League, and EA FC deliberately have no map/character pool, because there’s nothing to ban there.

If a veto is running or stuck, you’ll find it on Results (/dashboard/results) under “Map vetos” — the same component the public match page uses. As an organizer you can reset a stuck veto or view its log; the actual picks are made by the players in the match room, not by you.

A stuck veto blocks the bracket the same way a disputed result does — that’s why it lives on the same page as disputes.
